@Nishta yeah I’m 2 weeks PP and don’t have any leaking now x
@Abbie Did it work?
I didn’t breastfeed 2 of my babies and the midwives told me both times to do nothing to them They said to always wear a bra and not to touch them or let hot water run on them in the shower because that will encourage the milk It worked for me I wore a supportive bra for a few days only took it off when I had a shower and didn’t touch them at all and they went back to normal I was also told to put cabbage leaves in my bra lol apparently it helps dry up your milk xx
My midwife told me to wear a tight bra and do nothing with them. She said if I expressed or anything it would encourage the milk flow and take longer to dry out x
My baby has been in special care due to being born at 34 weeks. I tried to BF but it didn’t work out. The nurses told me not to pump but if my boobs get sore and hard, to massage them and let some milk out in a warm shower, which I’ve done and it’s helped. You don’t want to get engorged and a blocked milk duct etc. I find the shower tip and a few squeezes if my boob feels hard tends to help me!
Try to squeeze out the milk if you're not breastfeeding otherwise you might have breast engorgement which is really painful.
If you’re not breast feeding do nothing If they are pain full wet a towel in cold water and wrap in over your boobs xx
Do they not leak when your baby cries or when your around him/her? I thought the midwife was going insane when she told me you leak when your around your baby or when they cry😂 my milk supply come in on the Wednesday and on the Thursday my daughter was admitted into hospital at 4 days old due to high temp and so I was I, turns out I had mastitis🥲
@Abbie Thanks a lot, I'll give it a try x
