Breast pumping and Work?

How do you mommies do it? This will be my first time Breastfeeding while working. I didn’t with my first baby. Also, I’m speaking specifically on working from home. They have strict rules and expect you to be very present while working with no distractions. So, how do you ladies do it? I’ll be working from home soon. I’m excited but I’m just only strictly nervous about doing this at the same time. We truly need the income and I wanna ensure it’s as less stressful as possible. I’m already working to adjust to baby’s feeding schedule.

Depending on where you live state wise there are laws in place to help you with this! In Texas for an 8hr shift they have to allow you two breaks outside of your normal breaks to pump I believe they have to be at least 20 minutes long! I would look up the laws and talk with your employer

I haven’t had to pump while working from home, but I do pump. If your pump isn’t hands free I would recommend getting a pumping bra. Then I just set a timer for 20 minutes and I can focus on whatever I want while I pump. You would just have to find a way to get up and store your milk in the fridge, or if you have a cooler it can be stored in there for 4 hours
