Oh no @Jessica how is he doing now? It’s not a great night when that happens. @Kathryn hope she got through unscathed 😊
We’ve just had them too. We had to wake our little guy for calpol two hours after he went to bed - he was very hot. He’s just woken again at 2am with a fever still 🤒
@Kathryn always the way to be!
I didn't even know I was supposed to give three doses, they didn't tell me. Just give them some calpol after and they can have more if needed, so he only had the one dose 😳. Thankfully he was ok
My little one only had the two doses, seemed fine when he woke for a feed so didn't feel he needed the third and definitely didn't want to wake him before that! Very subjective and no right or wrong!xx
@Kirstie partner works away but will just blame him anyway 🤣🤣 checked temp there and so far so good, hoping all will be fine xx
I'd definitely wake them for the calpol 🙈 but try keep it as dark and calm as you can
You’ll never know. I like to make my partner decide so if it’s wrong I can blame him 😅 hopefully all goes well and you wake up tomorrow with a happy little one. If 11 is 4 hours, and baby is a good sleeper/you have your partner around to help through the night/you can manage a later night, you could always keep an eye on temp as you get closer to 1 (6 hours) and see how you feel.
Thanks girls, awwww i hate stuff like this, to know what to do for the best....heading to bed with my thermometer and calpol....will see what happens, hopefully the wee dote will be ok 🙏 thank you all xx
I also appreciate that they don’t all get a fever. I just remember that night burned into my mind (DH has conveniently forgotten!)
With my first, we missed the third dose due to sleep and he ended up spiking a fever and needing to be stripped to nappy and cool flannels etc. it was not a nice night to keep an eye on him and help cool him. With my 4 month old, I made sure we did all 3 doses to be safe, although I appreciate not wanting to wake them, just giving you my experience (which would make me never miss the third dose again, personally) Good luck with whichever you choose, hope she is ok after her jabs ☺️
I had this situation on Tuesday and I just left my LG to sleep but she did wake up at 1am I checked her temp which was slightly raised at 37 and gave her the last dose
No, I’d leave her to sleep xx
@Kirstie he’s doing ok now. He went back to sleep until 9am this morning - I really enjoyed that lie in! He was mostly ok today with a few miserable patches but we had to give another dose of Calpol at bedtime.
