Wexham park or Queen Charlotte hospital

Hey lovely ladies, I’m kind of torn between picking Wexham park or Queen Charlotte. Just wondering if any of you have had experiences of either? Thanks in Advance! X

Queen Charlotte is busy but I never had a problem booking appointments or getting support from the helpline , triage or the diabetic team. I was induced and had to wait from being admitted to antenatal ward to go to Labour ward and that was frustrating but the Labour ward was fantastic once I got there.

Omg - Queen C’s is one of, if not the best maternity hospital in the country. It has a private wing which people pay lots of money to use. It’s that good. I had my little girl there of course.

I had my first at queen Charlotte and so did a lot of friends and family. 90% have had good experiences, and I would go back for a second child too.

See what’s best for you because I wouldn’t have gone Wexham either even when I had moved to slough. My friends and family all gave birth in QC but when they visited they realised how nice Wexham actually is. Tbh you can switch over whenever. I wish you the best my love x

@yasmin Thanks for responding & sorry to hear of your past experience but BIG congratulations to you as well mama❤️ like you I automatically picked QC and even have an appointment there soon.. but hearing it’s extremely busy and hard to get hold of a midwife when you need 😩 Wexham definitely looking more appealing now.

I would definitely recommend Wexham park. The midwives and staff there are lovely. The maternity ward is also new and I don’t find it as busy in London. I was a patient at queen Charlotte first and didn’t think about Wexham even though it was closer to me. One day my waters broke suddenly and the ambulance took me to Wexham, unfortunately my twins passed away shortly after I had given birth due to an infection. It was a painful experience but they really comforted me from the beginning til the end. I just had my rainbow baby 3 weeks ago in Wexham and some of the staff who met me last year came up and congratulated me and it was just sooo nice.
