Pumping journey ending soon

My goal was to pump for 6 months but my baby just turned three months and I’m almost out of storage space and I have officially cut down to just three pumping sessions a day since returning to work .. I think I should have more then enough to last her until she’s one

@Bella omg don’t feel guilty. Your body hasn’t been your own for a year now. That’s not easy, and while you’re back at work! I don’t understand how working pumping moms do it, I wouldn’t last a single day. If you’re done, you’re done. That stash is such a wonderful gift for your little one!

@Laura I say I’m going to stop everyday but I feel so guilty

If you want to check how much is in there, you can weigh it. 1 lb of weight will be roughly 16 ounces of volume, since breastmilk is about the density of water and the bags are very light. Also, breastmilk continues to be good for baby well past their first birthday. If you wanted to cut to once a day, even if you’re not keeping up you’re extending the end of providing breastmilk and won’t be overfilling the chest freezer since she’ll be eating more than you’re adding. But if you stop here you’re still a rockstar!

@Pelin I drunk body armor my whole pregnancy and now plus I try to drink a gallon of water a day and when my supply dropped I ate oatmeal with a little of coconut oil

So awesome! Good job momma!! A way to get more space would be to brick your milk in gallon ziplocks!
