I know the feeling I am now 37 weeks and have had this especially as I’ve had a small bump all the way through but I wear clothes to enhance my bump because I’m so bloody proud that my body has gone 9 months of growing a human, only mothers can cope with 2 heartbeats, 4 lungs, 2 brains REMEMBER THAT Just remember what your doing 🫶🏻
I felt the same, I could only wear tshirts and leggings and let me just say I am a material girl 😂 but i started shopping and found some cute clothes on she in (because it’s cheap and I didn’t want the guilt) and now I feel so cute and confident! I also tried to find things I can continue to wear after I have my baby. I still feel heavy some days, and on those I just allow myself to rest. I always try to remind myself that my little one is getting big and strong! It gives me a peace of mind because even though i feel huge, I know she’s healthy.
@Clara your soo right don’t make me cry… feels like I’m doing everything wrong at times… definitely growing a healthy lol man I will keep that at the forefront of my mental! Thank you 🥹
@Brenda lol you hit it right on the mail lol thank you for making me laugh! It was pee part lol I literally said it not too long ago 😂
I had to have confidence in myself first, physically and psychologically. 6 years ago I never wanted children. Married my now husband in 2018, July of 2020 joined a crossfit gym, and 2021 took part in a year long women's nutrition/fitness/empowerment program. There are days where I judge every inch of myself. "I'm fat, this dress doesn't look good on me, I'm eating so bad compared to how I used to." Then I remember that I am growing another human. She is healthy and that is what matters. Ask yourself/partner the question "what are you excited about?" Take care of you. Slow down, buy yourself flowers. Go for walks. Absolutely go shopping! Get plenty of rest. Your baby is lucky to have you as a mother.
Shopping! Finding clothes I feel cute in definitely helps with confidence but I definitely still get the bleh feeling from time to time. Like today lol it’s been so hot I feel so huge and I can’t possibly have to go pee AGAIN lol. Hang in there mama!
Im 22w2d and I just wear dresses now that it’s warm or I’ll wear leggings and then a maternity shirt. I like to be compressed in like wearing tighter things around my belly that’s what makes me more comfortable but then again I’m really all belly.
