I’m still planning my daughters b day. It’s July 6th and I’m thinking of doing a park birthday as something simple this year. I was thinking the same thing but it’s not an all day thing so I will plan it with lots of cold refreshments and shaded area. It should be just fine. Plan it for the time that’s the least hottest in the day. I hate being hot so I’ve thought about this long and hard lol.

Yay! My daughters in July 16!

What a cutie!

Planning something similar for my son’s birthday he is on the 21st of July

Since we dont have a lot of parent friends or many baby playdate friends in our area yet. We are just going to the Nature and Science museum. There is discovery play area and a Bug exhibit. Then going out to eat after. He loves trying new foods.

July 28th. A party at my moms place on the 29th. He’s adorable! I don’t think it will be too hot, but if it is, move it into the house.

We’re having a pool party the weekend before. Just sent out invites today!

Were doing a park party. My friend has a soft play party rental set she is gifting us for the event and we will barbeque and the older kids can play on the playground and well have water balloons for them. We live in AZ and her bday is june 21 so we are doing it the following Saturday. It will probably be 100 out... but well survive. Friend also had a big fan and the playground is covered and there is a ramada we have plus tents over other parts of the party.

We are planning a sloth themed birthday. They love their sloth warmies, even fed and a petted a real sloth during a trip to the zoo. Im planning on a small family get together since we live separate from most of our friends. But then a small party at my parents house, near the friends. They all have kids, I can’t expect them to drive 2 hours each way for a party. Their birthday is July 8th so it would be close to 4th of july as well

I'm planning to get lots of water/chill activities for the little ones (I hope we'll have a few littles that can come but they'll also double as toys for baby!) like a water table, splash pad, kiddie pool, bubble station, chalk, maybe painting and stuff! Food, I'm still trying to determine. Baby "trail mix"...cute foods of some kind...lol

My daughter turned one yesterday. I ended up taking her to Monterey Bay Aquarium. She enjoyed it.

@Eliza I’m planning my son birthday a park birthday party also we are going to try and get out there as early as possible

He is so cute

@Tineshia what time are you planning to have it at? I agree 💯

@Tineshia at the park I’m planning to have her party at you have to reserve the shelter/table area to use it exclusively for your party and the only time a lot available was 12-4pm unfortunately so just something to consider. Check the park rules and criteria as some may not be open availability.

I was going to do it at my moms house with a blow up splash pad on the deck, but our family is too large. I went ahead and reserved a pavilion at a park with a splashpad from 10am-12. We are in TX and it gets so miserably hot so I wanted to make sure we had access to water and shade! Park rentals are relatively inexpensive compared to other facility rentals. A small pavilion was $25 and a large one was $62.50 when I looked up prices in my city! But the little gym or indoor playground was like 200+. And I just can't justify doing that right now lol.

@Eliza oh yeah ok that’s good to know lol thank you for sharing

My son bday is July 28th, but the party is July 29th. Doing a house party with catered food, cake & ice cream. Not too much. I thought about doing it at the park, but I'm sure the kids need bathroom facilities they trust so I'm going to do it at the house. It's his 1st bday

@Caitlyn wow those are some great prices. I’m in southern cali and all the little kids places are averaging $500 and up it’s ridiculously expensive. It cost me $75 to reserve the park area lol. Cali is hot and Texas is worse so I definitely agree with having plenty of shade and water activities!

@Tineshia of course! 😊

@Keishana (Keke) that sound great! The house is always a winner if the space is available

@Eliza omg! That's so expensive, ugh I feel for you!

@Eliza I got a quote for a venue and it was 600 not including food lol
