Thumping in belly

Hi! I'm wondering if this is happening to someone else. I'm 35 weeks and I've been noticing a thumping in the same spot in my belly every evening. It gets better if I move around. I've talked to my obgyn who says it's hiccups but it's been happening daily at night and it never happened before. Anyone else?

Yep totally normal. Hiccups are baby practices inhaling and ingesting amniotic fluids which helps them practice breathing and builds their digestive system for for drinking milk once outside of you. Babies are getting into a circadian rhythm and so it makes sense you would start to notice baby is awake (with Hiccups) around the same time. And you walking around will rock them to sleep so to speak so again makes sense that they would stop shortly after doing that.
