One month old feeding

Should I still be waking my four week old for feeds every 3 hours at night or can he sleep through until he wakes up naturally?

We were told once bsby is above birth weight and gaining then let them sleep x

So when our baby regained his birth weight we just let him wake us when he’s hungry at night he goes back at 8pm & wakes us around half 1 for a bottle then goes back sleep until half 5/6. He’s still a very healthy weight at seven weeks old been doing it this way with him since he was 3 weeks old.

I asked the health visitor this at the 4 week mark and she agreed that if baby is gaining weight then let them sleep and they’ll wake you up when they’re hungry.

Let them sleep, they will wake up and tell you if they we’re hungry xx

The midwife told me that if they have regained their birth weight and there are no other factors then let them sleep and don’t wake them. Babies will let you know when they are hungry 😊

They shouldn’t go more than four hours to maintain a healthy weight gain, if they want it sooner than give it to him😊
