Idk much about formula but I know the hospital will have some on deck for baby. Get some breastfeeding education. Many women fail at EBF because of lack of knowledge! Many things can affect your breastmilk and being prepared helps to know what to do.
The WIC people will put you on the purple enfamil can, my youngest had a lot of acid reflux and lactose, so nutrimagin was what I used - my sister also likes the organic type of things and she uses the regular purple can enfamil. I don't know much else on any of the things -

I bought a box of Holle Goat milk based formula. It’s European and made with better ingredients than US based formulas. I’ve used it with many of the newborns I care for and it’s a really good brand. They make cow based also but I am sensitive to dairy so I chose goat just in case.
@Katterina in SC they will put you on Gerber Goodstart. Any other brand requires a doctors rx basically
