As said above you can lose your mucus plug early I lost mine around 32 weeks again at 36 weeks as it can regenerate it’s self an I gave birth at exactly 38 weeks with my middle one, just look out for bleeding Change in movements an leaking of waters
No I totally get it, if it weren't for my doctor telling me these things, I'd be SO lost! Just monitor your symptoms! If you think you're having regular contractions (that don't resolve when you lie down and drink water) or you're leaking/feel a gush, get checked out! Or if baby moves less, there's any bleeding, or you have severe swelling/blurry vision. Other than that, try not to overthink it. There may be more mucus later, there may not! Just depends. But baby is safe and sound in the amniotic sac! Just working their way down to prepare for birth. I'm 35 weeks and constantly see/feel little things that *might* be a sign that labor is near, but those signs can last weeks 🙄 we're stuck in the longest waiting game of our lives!
Thank you for commenting and your reassurance! I just don’t want to be dramatic😅 everything else is fine, no cramping or anything like that just a little pressure and a lot of movement. Should I just keep an eye on it and expect more to come? Any other time I would just Google but I know I’ll just worry myself with whatever it says x
I’d definitely call your doctor to check & be on the safe side!
It definitely could be! Good news is, mucus plug can come out WEEKS before labor starts. Just means your cervix is starting to dilate, which around 32 weeks isn't super uncommon. You can be anywhere from 1-3 centimeters for multiple weeks before labor begins. If your water breaks, bleeding starts, or you have 4+ contractions in an hour, definitely go to the hospital! But as long as everything else besides the mucus plug seems normal, don't sweat!
Your micas plug coming out just means you are getting close. No labor just yet. Trust me when you go into labor there is no confusion at all. You’ll know when it hits you
