I hate having anxiety

For the past two days my gums have been swollen and red. I think I have gingivitis due to the swelling, redness, and I’ve had some bleeding while brushing. Even if I don’t have gingivitis I’ve convinced myself that my gum line is receding and all my teeth with fall out. I know it’s probably not possible if it just started but I’m freaking out. I’m even scared to brush my teeth because I think they’ll fall out. Can someone please confirm they won’t fall out cause I genuinely believe they will if I don’t see a dentist within the next few days 😭

@Aracely You are so welcome!! 🤍

Please brush your teeth! It might hurt a bit but just be gentle with them. We have 2x as much blood when pregnant so gums are just more sensitive and prone to bleeding. Brushing will help keep them healthy.

Lastly, I forgot to say it before, gingivitis is extremely common while on birth control, during pregnancy and after pregnancy because high levels of hormones are really hard on teeth.

Okay, gingivitis is reversible, peridontitis is not. The ONLY way to get rid of gingivitis is GOOD oral hygiene! So do not skip brushing, flossing, mouthwash! Do the works! Whenever they start to feel swollen and your anxiety builds up, go gently clean them. It will make you feel better, and the gingivitis will clear right up! I'm gonna attach 2 screen shots of mouth wash for you to get.
