I have a next to me cot so it always used to wake me up and for the first few weeks I was getting my little girl up to change her and feed her thinking she was awake š© I have a white noise machine that drowns out some of the little noises she makes and sends us both off to sleep pretty quick
Active sleep is normal for all newborns. Itās there way of going from one sleep cycle to the next. As long as her crib is empty with just a sheet she can move all she wants and sheās safe.
My daughter still does this at 6 months. Thrashes all over place but still asleep. I've heard it's their way of entering REM sleep.
This is normal, my son is 5 months and still does this š
