Failed induction?

So I’m currently being induced for reduced fetal movements and baby is growing small. I’m 37+5 today and had my second pessary put in last night. My hospital have a policy of 2 pessary’s and if you don’t dilate enough to break your waters it’s straight to c section…. I know that the most important thing is for baby to arrive safely but I can’t help but feel like a c section would be the absolute end of the world and I don’t know why I’m feeling that way…. I’m not sure what I want from this post… I guess I just need to put my feelings down rather than let them circle around 😕

The best mindset is what’s best for you and the baby. Reduced movement and growth is a concern for baby’s well-being. You will be mobile after 4-5 days after the section my friend chose to have one and is happy with her choice. If it wasn’t for the complication of reduced movement I would be pushing back for other options. Ultimately the choice is yours as it’s your body.

I feel you. I'm half way through pessary 1 and will be absolutely gutted if it ends in a section but can't put my finger on why. I guess we have to try and stay positive. Hope everything works out for you x
