Braxton hicks painful?

I’m just after some advice because I’m so confused 😞😟 Last night I was sick for no reason but I thought nothing of it until I started getting really random sore stomach cramps all during the night. I’ve gone toilet at least 10 times in the last 6 hours but now I’m getting these sort of mild to medium stomach cramps almost like period pains which last for around 10-15 seconds but they’re every 10 minutes. I’m just wondering if braxton hicks can be painful? I’ve had them for the last week or so but they’ve never actually been painful, more uncomfortable. I’ve also had very slight brown discharge this morning and yesterday morning but seems to have stopped now.

Thankfully it’s not labour! I do seem to have quite a few infections but I’ve come home because I live close to hospital to monitor myself bur just relieved it’s not labour ☺️

I’m 33 weeks, I’ve come to triage and they’ve done a urine sample and found quite a few things in so just waiting to see the doctor. The pains seem to be getting more frequent x

I keep trying to call triage but the call keeps saying failed, I’ve tried ringing other people and it seems to work fine so not sure what’s going on 😭

That sounds like labour. My midwife told me yesterday that it starts at the top of your bump and when they’re every 10 minutes, ring them.

Have you called triage?

I forgot to add that baby is moving around fine so I’m not worried about reduced movement or anything like that.
