To cut down on night feeds, you need to feed more during the day. Baby has to intake a certain number of calories in a 24 hour period. If you don't want them to have to eat in the middle of the night, you have to increase the calories during the daytime to hit their total.
I feed on demand so when she wakes up hungry she gets fed but since she eats better during the day now she wakes up less often. It's still developmentally right to wake up 2-3 times a night and it could be for food
Nope still waking up 😵💫
Also important to make sure eating enough during the day to be able to cut down overnight
You can try to see if you can soothe another way like just by soothing them in their basinet/crib or walking/rocking them etc. I did that at one point, then we reverted, but now he is just sleeping longer usually
I didn't do anything either. Down at 8, wakes at 2, wakes again after 6.
Baby sleeps longer. I didn't do anything. She wakes up once. She goes down at 11, and she doesn't wake till 5/5:30
I feed on demand and baby wakes up 2-3 times. Lately 3 times because she just started nursing and wants that extra comfort. We do sidelying nursing in bed which helps me get more sleep
