I would say it's more linked to stress. But may be if you have changed diet....little ones movement did change a bit initially but it didn't take him long to make up for it. If you are worried go get it checked! That's what the triage maternity unit is there for x
Any reduced movements are definitely worth a check up. I had two episodes of reduced movements in two weeks and was so glad I told my midwife as now we have a potential reason for the reduced movements and I’m being monitored more closely whilst they confirm things and investigate. My hospital and midwives have been great with the reduced movements.
For 3-4 days after I was diagnosed with GD my baby went quieter and I do think it’s because I changed my diet BUT if you experience any change in movement please contact triage because GD is not a reason baby should slow down. Hope she’s wiggling away again soon.
If u have reduced movements u should contact your midwife or triage x
Stress does raise your cortisol levels which in turn makes your blood sugar worse... I'm not sure if that would effect movement though. Best run it by your midwife
