nothing wrong with that! i put the tv on in the ams when we wake up to give me time to get ready and if i ever need to do something throughout the day and she's being super fussy or clingy that day i put on cartoons ( educational ones ) and sometimes if im feeling like a couch potato we do movie marathons
We put the aquarium channel on since our guy was fascinated by a friend’s aquarium
i know i got extremely lucky with my baby but we never watch tv with him. he’s a generally happy and chill baby and loves his independent play. i can easily just put him on the floor with a rattle or crinkle toy and he’s entertained long enough for me to do whatever house chores need to be done. i’m so thankful to have a baby that makes it easy for me to not allow screen time until he’s 4 years old.
We don't have the TV on during the day. Just when he's asleep in the evening. If he's fussy I put something on for him to listen to rather than watch which keeps him calm for a while. I'm trying to avoid as much TV at home as I can, but if a few minutes here and there is making life easier for you, then I'd say that's fine and won't really be of any detriment to him.
I was able to put away laundry when I put on miss Rachel for 5/10 minutes so I don’t see much harm in it. Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do! I think the harm is having it on all day/ using is as a babysitter.
And loves playing with toys with bright colors and corrinating them. So I don't really don't worry about screen time . So try music and a walk outside so it's soothing for you and baby
My 4 month old loves cooking videos
Yeah we do like 10 minutes in the morning just to wake up and about 10 minutes in the evening to calm down. TV or radio is on most of the day for noise but we keep busy so don't watch most of it. We are 5 months old 😊
my daughter watches educational programs, and sometimes it’s the only way to get things done. you need to do what works best from you mama
