Trying to Get Pregnant..

So my husband and I have been trying for our 2nd baby, and for all but one day before ovulation (my fertile window) we have had unprotected sex. Of course, we forgot to on the actual day of ovulation (or what my calendar predicts at least). Does this mean I won't get pregnant or my chances have decreased now? I'm so upset I feel like crying. I can't believe we forgot to try on the one day I was most fertile.

Sperm lives inside you for up to 5 days and takes a while for them to get to the egg so I wouldn’t worry. Plus on average it takes 6 months to conceive even when doing everything you can x

Start having sex 5 days before your ovulation day. After your egg drops on ovulation day your chance of getting pregnant drops significantly. We kept waiting for ovulation day and pregnancy didn’t happen for 2 months. Start early so the sperm is ready when the egg drops!

Hey as long as you had sex in the week of ovulation, you have a fair chance. Baby dust to you x

Take you some ChasteBerry (Vitex Capsules) and this will help dramatically wit fertility. It fixes everything off with your reproductive system, whether it be unbalanced hormones. Shrinking Fibroids and cysts, regulating your period, and increasing fertility chances. I have been with my husband for almost 6 years. We started having unprotected sex after about a year and a half of dating and never once did I get pregnant for 2 years. Then I started taking Vitex and literally a month or 2 later I found out I was pregnant. Same happen with my second pregnancy 2 years later.

My OB told me to count 10 days from the 1st day of my period and have sex on that day and then every other day after that. Sperm can live in the body up to 5 days. So by doing this schedule you'll always have healthy sperm in there whenever you do ovulate. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/getting-pregnant/in-depth/how-to-get-pregnant/art-20047611#:~:text=The%20highest%20pregnancy%20rates%20occur,the%20end%20of%20your%20period.

The calendars never worked for me, I got the clear blue digital ovulation tests and got pregnant on the first try with my first and I tried a different brand ovulation test with my second and didn’t work so I bought clear blue again and got pregnant the first month of testing with it. I definitely recommend. For me it works when we try exactly on the peak ovulation day according to the test but everyone is different

you should be testing for ovulation the test really aren’t a lot amazon has some called at home and there’s an app for it too it’s really good, and just because you don’t have sex when you ovulate doesn’t mean you won’t get pregnat it can still happen when you not just don’t stress about it ans it’ll happen when you least expect it and it’ll be amazing

Sperm can live for up to 5 days so even if you missed the actual ovulation day there’s still a very high chance 😊
