So if you’re like 5+3 I’ve always gone by saying stuff like ‘5 and a bit weeks’ or ‘almost 6 weeks’ if it was 5+5, or whatever etc. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong way really when you’re talking about it generally, medical professionals obviously just tend to use your exact dates when talking about the pregnancy.
Oh yes. That makes sense. So if someone is into their sixth week, are you 6 weeks or still 5 weeks in general terms? Sorry - just trying to get my head round all this.
It’s because you’ve done 4 full weeks and are in the fifth week, so see info for 5 weeks. So E.g when you’re 5+3, you’ve done 5 full weeks and are 3 days into your sixth week, so you’ll see info for 6 weeks.
