Teething

Hello moms! My 1.5 year old is drooling excessively and he has a bit of a runny/possible stuffy nose. I'm assuming it's just teething cause he only coughs/chokes when there is a lot of saliva. How long does the drooling last for? We are on day two and I feel I'm just constantly wiping his mouth/chest. I don't have him in a shirt cause he gets it wet within half hour or less. Who knew teething was so excessive my god......
