Miscarriage, looking for some hope!

Just had our early scan this morning at 6+6 after a 5 dt FET and there was nothing to see and blood test came back negative. This will be our second chemical pregnancy, the first was natural and 18 months ago. Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after multiple chemicals? We are very lucky and have more embryos in the freezer but I don’t even know how to face going through this again 💔

My first transfer was a chemical (double embryo transfer) and my second was a missed miscarriage (saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks but lost the baby soon after. Didn’t know until my 12 week scan) my 3rd transfer was successful and I am 33 weeks tomorrow. It just takes the right embryo.

That must have been so hard Danielle, you’re so strong to keep going!! Congratulations, so so happy for you now! This does give me hope thank you 💕xxx

Fresh (oct 20) - worked Fet 1 (July 22) - chemical Fet 2 (halloween 22) - miscariage at 6.5 weeks Third and final embryo was due transfer start in January this year and found out I was pregnant naturally. Every loss I was so adamant to try again and couldn’t imagine life without another baby. With two losses, you will get extra scans with epu. Which is reassuring and relaxes you a little bit. I had extra (very expensive) blood tests with our clinic and found out I had blood clotting and was on blood thinners for first 14 weeks of this pregnancy x

Had a blighted ovum and went on to have twins and now pregnant again (all ivf) it really only takes 1!

First of all, I’m so sorry for your losses 💔 - it’s really hard. My first pregnancy (natural) ended in MC at 11 weeks last year. We did ICSI this year & I’m now 15 weeks with our first fresh transfer xx

That is reassuring about the extra scans @Victoria thanks! Did the clinic suggest that blood test to you? So happy this pregnancy is going well for you 😊 Wow @Lucy that’s amazing congratulations, true IVF success stories! @Nicky congratulations to you too! And thanks so much for replying everyone xxx

They done a thrombotic risk profile blood test which was close to £500 so not cheap at all and found out I had sticky blood. The nhs seemed me not necessary to do the blood test as I ONLY had two losses! The only part still makes my blood boil x

🙈 nhs rules just aren’t fair or compassionate sometimes
