Am I in the wrong?

This is a quick version of the story. My husband got mad at me for not asking him for help to pay for the storage. When we spoke of ot initially, I told him I'd pay for it with the money my mom is paying me back with. That didn't happen because she needed the money more than me. I knew I was getting unemployment, but my card is coming in 10 days. I expressed this to the storage manager and also told him I was in the process of a divorce. The manager said he'd work with me and not to worry. Now I told my husband I wanted a divorce before I made this arrangement with the storage manager. The last storage we had together ended up with me paying over $600 and moving to this current storage without his help. Now that I'm at this new storage I don't want his help. He telling me I should have came to him when plans for payment changed and that I should apologize.
