I believe as long as they’re used within 24 hours you don’t have to resterilise them x
If you put them together straight after sterilising for use the next day, that will absolutely fine. They’re good for 24 hours after the sterilising cycle 😊 I haven’t got a UV steriliser as I opted to go for the electric steam one instead but heard good things about the UV’s too. Some of the UV brands have a ‘storage’ mode that if you keep it on, it cycles between the UV sterilising and drying cycle every 2 hours to keep the bottles sterilised until you need them (so you can put them on just before end of 24 hours and will make them last longer). Hope that helps xx
I have a tommee tippee sterilizer, and it says that the bottles are good for 24 hours so long as they stay in the sterilizer or if you make up a bottle, put the cap on, and put it in the fridge. Taking them with you on the go, as long as you put a cap on and they’re in an insulted bag, you should be good for a few hours. I don’t know the exact recommendation for that but that’s just based on my experience and what I do.
@Courtney so put them together empty? Yeah it does help thankyou so confusing x
@Maz hi lovely. Yes, while I nannied - I used to sterilise the bottles and then let them air dry (usually took around 30 mins max) but then put all the bottles together empty and stored them in their bottle bag case thing ready for the next day’s use. The baby was formula fed so on the go they used the pre-made formula’s but used powdered version at home. I intend to do a similar thing of sterilising, putting empty bottles together and having them ready for the following day. It soon became a routine for me to do this at the end of my shift with the family so will just become my pre-bed routine of my own haha! Feel free to message me if you have any questions. No guarantee I can help but I’d definitely try! Xx
