My baby is the same and I appreciate the info in the comments here as I couldn’t understand why it seemed like teething but was so early!! Now I know! Thanks xx
Babies salivary glands are maturing to aid digestion. My LG is happily blowing bubbles and dribbling like mad but no other signs of teething so I'm guessing it's not that. Usually co-incides with developmental leap 3 😁 x
Mine is he is 3 months soon
It's possible but if she's not upset, doesn't seem to be in pain, and doesn't have a temperature its more likely at this age to be that her saliva glands are developing which is why she's drooling, babies don't automatically swallow their saliva like adults do. She will also have just discovered her fingers which is why she's chewing them. My LO is the same and he'll be 11 weeks on Tuesday.
I gave her 1ml of calpol tonight and it seems to have helped her x
@Louise oh bless I suppose it can start anytime! Hard though as there is not much you can give to help before 3 months 😞
My girl is doing the same and is 10 weeks tomorrow- I wasn't sure if it was teething or what
I most definitely think she is teething she is in a lot of pain screaming now and again. X
