Wake windows/overtired

My little boy is a month now and I’m worrying about his wake windows. During the day he will only go to sleep in his basket for 30 minutes ish, he will sleep for longer on me of if we go out in car or in his pram but if we are at home I feel like he can be awake for long periods of time and can get very upset (screaming crying) which makes me so sad and worrying if he’s overtired yet I can’t get him to sleep before this point. Just wondering how everyone else is getting on with wake windows? As I feel like a terrible mum if he is getting over tired.

Your not a terrible mum. Every baby is different. My LG is 4 weeks on Thursday and cannot stay awake longer than an hour without getting very overtired and needing help to get back to sleep. X

My little boy is doing the same and he is 3 weeks old x

Are you breastfeeding? My little one is the same, won’t settle for daytime naps anywhere but next to me. So I’m feeding him in a side lying position during the day, he falls asleep in our bed and I stay with him. That’s the only trick that works to get 1-2 hour naps during the day.

My little boy is having a lot more wake windows during the day most of the time he's content to sit and watch but sometimes he starts flailing his arms and legs about and getting upset because he has trapped wind

My little boy is 2 weeks and he seems to sleep all day when we are at someone’s else’s house.. when we are home I feel like his awake more
