Slipped on the stairs

Don’t judge me because I already feel horrendous but I slipped on the stairs whilst carrying my 13 week old, I have no idea how. I was only down one step but we both landed on our backs on the carpeted step. She sobbed for a minute like she did when she had her jabs done (which made me cry my eyes out) and then she has been fine since, there is no marks or lumps/bumps on her anywhere. I have abit of carpet burn on my elbow which I think cushioned the fall for her but other than that it was a really tiny slip. I feel so guilty but she seems completely fine, she’s had a feed and has been smiling as normal. Should I still take her to a&e to be checked over or do I just keep an eye on her? Like I said she seems completely herself… I feel like the world worst mum

Don’t feel bad I’ve done the same, except I fell forwards. Luckily my instinct was to keep hold of my daughter and I broke our fall with my head against the wall. It’s so easily done x

I was clipping a musical bird onto my little girls play mat. Didn't clip properly and fell on her head...felt horrific. She cried a tiny bit. No marks...and picked her up and she was fine. Literally I felt awful...but these things happen and you can't help it sometimes it's life. They will get bumps and knocks but doesn't make how we feel any better

So I had similar on Thursday! Tripped up and we both knocked in to a wall, clumsy tired kicking in. I called 111 and we were advised to go to A&E to be on the safe side. She got checked out and we were sent home. I also massively beat myself up over it and made myself feel terrible x

Don't feel bad, it's easily done. I'm sure she'll be fine but you could always call 111 if you're concerned. X
