We had exactly the same issue with our little one. We switched her onto cow and gate comfort formula and give her bentinox colic drops. She’s been like a different baby since we’ve been using them x
@Emma aww that’s so good to hear! I’m glad your little one is doing better, mine is on kendalmil what was yours on before? X
I just put the colief in when I make bottles, I make bottles up 4 bottles at a time and keep in fridge! Massive advocate for colief btw’ changed my babies whole personality x
My baby has colic (since 2 weeks old) I bought infacol and it did help; it takes about a week to fully work it’s magic.. I’m not sure if you are bottle or BF but with my LO I only bottle feed, I started using aptamil comfort which is for colic and my LO is doing much better now.. I hope that helps xx
@Georgina aww do you! How do you heat the bottles when you need them? I know I hate seeing him uncomfortable and would like him to sleep a bit at night at least! X
@Amy boil a kettle, pop the water on some Tupperware that’s been cleaned properly, then undo the lid of the bottle but keep the lid and teat resting over the milk, so it can’t get ought in it and then leave it and check after 4 mins x
@Amy I’ve done a few things that have massively helped! Like life changing helped her sleep! I’ll message your insta off your profile x
@She🧸 Thankyou 🥹 I just bottle feed and he gets kendamil, he’s definitely gotten worse since he turned 2 weeks old. I think I will need to change it as well, how long before you saw a change? Xx
@Amy maybe see if kendamil does formula for colic usual most brands do I was using the regular aptamil before and adding infacol in the bottle.. with infacol it took about a week and the aptamil comfort I saw a changed straight away xx
Kendamil do a comfort milk but it’s online only xxx
@Amy we were just using the regular cow and gate x
My babu is the same! His 3 weeks tomorrow! We started on cow and gate but changed to kendamil last week and the last 3 days his screaming like his in pain after a bottle! Ans doesn’t alway finish a bottle!
Ive just started using colief for my son and were adding 2 drops to his ready made formulas we keep in the fridge. He has his milk straight from the fridge, we dont heat it so maybe try that? In this heatwave im sure its probably quite refreshing for them! Worst case you could run the bottle under a hot tap to take the chill off if your fridge is really cold.
I had similar issues with my 4 week old, doctor said it's from the cow milk formula. I was told to switch to soy formula. And use gas drops. I did both of those things at night while daytime is strictly breastmilk. Baby seems a little better now & sleeps longer stretches of time. The doc also said as he gets bigger, his body can handle formula better... hang in there mama. You're doing great.
