@Katherine That’s a good idea! Would I be able to do warm compress then after do green tea bag? Like after the other? Would facial cleanser be okay not in the eye just like do a gentle massage with the cleanser on top of the lid?
@Megan I see no point in doing warm compresses with anything else. I’d just kill two birds with one stone and go ahead and do the compresses with the tea bag. And you can wash your face regularly with a gentle cleanser ( 2x a day is what’s recommended) but the cleanser isn’t going to take it away, it’ll just keep the area clean and bacteria free. The reason why compresses work is because the warmth and pressure will cause the Stye to naturally “pop”
@Katherin Yea I know I was just asking if before I put the compress and tea bag on my eye if I can just use the cleanser to clean it before doing those because I didn’t know if I could i know they recommend baby shampoo but since I didn’t have any just asking if the cleaner was fine. I know the cleanser won’t take away the stye just clean it before doing the compress and tea bag.
@Megan never heard of using baby shampoo, but yes cleansing the area before would def be a good idea
@Katherine Okay thank you!
I always just use warm compresses and they work like a charm!
Warm compresses with green tree bags work great. Also the stye eye drops (sold at target and most pharmacies). I usually get a mug with very warm water and dip the tea bag and leave it on the eye for a couple seconds and repeat by redipping the bag in the warm water
