Where does baby sleep after they've outgrown the moses basket?

Hey everyone. FTM here with what hopefully isn't a stupid question. We use a next to me in the bedroom for the night time sleeps and a moses basket in the living room for day time naps. My baby is 2 month old and almost too big for the moses basket. She has about 2 inches left (Tall Baba) so I need to buy something bigger for her to nap in during the day so she can be in the same room as me. Does anyone have any suggestions? What do others intend to do? Everything online says transfer to cot but that's refering to night time sleeping. I need something for the day time 😅

Hey. I'm in the same situation. We currently have a moses in the living room and a larger crib upstairs. We have just had a travel cot delivered, and I plan to bring the crib down from upstairs and use the travel cot at bedtime. We only had it delivered today, so I can't tell you how it's going. Sorry, lol. X

@Beth oh do keep me updated. A travel cot might be a good idea for us downstairs. Thanks for the idea.

Pram or travel cot!

We have a next to me crib for alongside the bed after the Moses basket and before the cot :) We’ll use that for naps and bedtime!

Our LO is almost out of the Moses basket, we bought this in aldi for £15 and I would say it’s between Moses basket and next to me crib size! He has a lot of room in it! It’s also really easily collapsible and portable so we are also taking it away on holiday next week x https://www.very.co.uk/1600705922.prd

Their room

@Sheelagh that looks like a really good idea. Thank you for your comment.

@Amber she's 2 month old, she won't be leaving my sight for atleast another 4 month.

@Shannon oh that looks like an ideal size actually. Thank you for sharing.

@Louise I have a next to me for the bedroom too, I need something for the living room or dining room where I can keep my eye on her while I'm doing my dissertation.

@Sam might end up just wearing her more often. 90% of the time we contact nap but sometimes I need to work on my dissertation and that requires both hands 😅

We didn't have room for a moses basket or anything downstairs so bought a sleep nest (not suitable for overnight sleeping, day time supervised naps are fine) or she would sleep in the pram. She still likes a good pram nap 😂

@Tasmin I've been thinking about just using the pram but it's too big to move around the home. Or should I say the door ways are too small 😅

@Lisa - リサ― honestly we just left ours in the hallway, but I can see it from my sofa so never moved it around when she's in it, as long as you can check on baby, see and hear it should be fine. She went through a phase at 3 months where she'd only sleep in her next to me upstairs so I just kept watch on the monitor during the day
