Please read!! Need help finding a birthing center that take ahcccs

I’ve been going to momdoc in Arizona and I’m just not really loving the level of care I’m receiving as well as not really liking to many of the doctors I honestly love the ultrasound techs but I just wich they were also the doctors. I’ve also always wanted to have a home birth but due to living with family and being tight on money that’s not a possibility, I was hoping some fellow Arizonans might know of birthing centers in the San tan/ queen creek/ Gilbert area that take ahcccs insurance please let me know!

Might be a little out of the way location wise, but we are using Babymoon Inn for our birth center and they are incredible. They have really nice rooms for the birthing and tubs and a really great atmosphere and I always feel good and cared for when I go into my appts. Excited to have my baby here. Not sure about the insurance but you can ask them to run it and get an estimate before you decide to proceed ❤️

I’m very excited I’m really hoping it all works out for me and there not full yet the month I’m due but I guess a better way to put my question is are they fully covered by ahcccs or does it just give you a discount if you have it?

@Nancy sorry I have so many questions I’m just really hoping it works out and when I showed my partner he was doubting that it’s covered by ahcccs because it looks so nice and I know there are some in Arizona that are but when I responded to your comment I realized I wasn’t super clear about if it fully covers it or not since I read a lot of them just give discounts

@Embry it’s fully covered by AHCCCS! I first started out of pocket and then I had AHCCCS and they returned my money cause it was FULLY covered. You don’t have to worry about it. And yes it is a BEAUTIFUL place! 😍 can’t wait to have my next one just to give birth there again lol

Have you checked with Dr. Hervey in PHX? He is worth the drive. Best in the state.
