Fitbit doesn't count steps when pushing stroller!

I know this is such a first world problem but it's doing my head in telling me I'm only doing 2000 steps a day when I know I'm doing more! It's not counting steps when I'm pushing the stroller though. Do I just accept my fate or does anyone have any ideas how to make it more accurate?

Put it on your belt loop or on your ankle if you can. I had the exact same issue and it was driving me mad. I’m doing the 1 million steps in 3 months challenge too, so was a bit disheartening when I thought I’d walked loads and it was only saying 3k 🙄

You need to either hold your pram 1 handed or put your Fitbit somewhere else. It doesn’t track movement when you are holding pram as your wrist is still

Thanks ladies. Will have to put in my pocket or something as my ankle is too fat 😂

@Nicola @Jemma @PJ I actually found the same problem with my Apple Watch 🤯— so frustrating so I decided to build an Apple Watch app that ACTUALLY tracks steps while walking with a stroller. I found anywhere from 20-60% of my steps were missing & not tracked when I was walking with my stroller. If any of you have switched over to Apple Watch since this thread, I’d love for you to try it!

Thank you! But unfortunately I'm an android gal so won't work for me. I've just told Google fit to track my steps and made sure my phone is in my pocket and then I feel better 😂

Totally get it! Glad you found a way to get them tracked!
