Tommee tippee closer to nature vs mam easy start

We are starting to combifeed our nearly 6 week old after her being pretty much exclusively breast feeding. We bought the tommee tippee advanced anti colic but the teet seems really stiff and she fights it. We got a mam bottle freebie and we tried that last night and she could suck so much better. Tommee tippee have the close to nature soft silicone teets which are highly rated but they don’t fit the advanced colic bottles apparently! So looks like we need to buy a new set of bottles!!!! Which should we go for? Tommee tippee closer to nature soft silicone or mam easy start anti colic?

We use the closer to nature but for the first 3 months we just bought those cheap bottles from the supermarket (usually packs of 3, not the fast flow ones) as they’re cheaper than teats for name brand, soft enough, and with my first, I was advised about them so we set aside the TT ones and ended up using them at first (he did take them much better). However, never tried the MAM to comment on comparison and not sure about combi as it was formula and expressed milk only so my advice may not work for BF babies.

I would say go for the Mam slow flow bottles as they are closer to the breast flow. Whilst I was using the Tommee Tippee ones my LO refused the breast

I used TT to start with, but I hate how the plastic smelled and changed colour over use. Now I use Bibs glass bottles and TT glass bottle. They’re so much better and does not smell of anything.

It was more the texture of the teet. The advanced anti colic TT ones seemed really stiff, not soft like a boob. I know she was better with the mam one but just if the tommee tippee soft silicone would be better. I’m leaning towards mam as she’s tried it.

Mam 1000% Used for both of my children never had any issues with colic even though I did when BF I love them and they are self sterilising Heard so many stories of people using different bottles including tommee tippi and had to switch to mam and never had issues after

My son struggled with TT. He now has MAM and they’re great.

I do think, if you know she likes it, stick with that one. The closer to nature are firm compared to the disposable/cheaper teats so we bypassed them with this one (and didn’t use with our first in the end)

Not tommee tippee! This is my second baby and since finding MAM bottles I wish I knew how good they were the first time around!! 100000% MAM!

Couldn’t use Tommee tippee and my midwives hate them, totally recommend Mam!

I have the closer to nature and advanced anticolic tommee tipee bottles and I mix and match the teets all the time as they look the same, they fit perfectly
