Opinions on the membrane sweep?

Following as I am 39 weeks on Friday and have also been offered my first sweep. Although hoping it works first time as induction is booked at 40 weeks

i got one today and had quite sore cramps afterwards but nothing unbearable, the actual sweep itself wasnt sore, but i just thought nothing wrong with trynna encourage baby out before my induction tomorrow

I'm 41 weeks and having my 3rd and final sweep tomorrow ... seems they havnt worked well for me. The sweep itself is uncomfortable but not painful as such but I do get painful cramps in lower stomach and back later in the day which can make it painful to move.

Following too - I’m 39 weeks today and I have mine booked for Thursday

I'm 39+2 and was offered a sweep from 38 weeks. I'd rather wait until 40 weeks as I'm having signs anyway x

I’m having my first sweep tomorrow as I hit 40 weeks. I still haven’t made my mind up if I want to have it done or not because of the pain and whether it be worth it because I have another 2 weeks the most left of this pregnancy if I decline the sweep and don’t lose my plug etc. I’m split in two minds but I’m mainly afraid of the pain. If it was pain free I would do it because I’m fed up of being pregnant now. I’ll probably decide there and then if I want it or not 🫣

I had a sweep yesterday (37+2) being induced at 37+5 it wasn’t painful but a bit uncomfortable, iv had cramping and back ache since but nothing worse that period pains until contractions started a couple hours ago but they aren’t that bad atm either.

Update I had mine today I went for it, it was attempted she tried to put a finger in but I wasn’t dilated enough, it wasn’t bad at all I was expecting worse
