So in my experience, I went in for my “8. Week” ultrasound & baby measured 6 weeks. I knew my dates weren’t off. I went back the following week & baby had not grown any. I prepared myself to miscarry. From the time I had my first ultrasound to when the miscarry actually started was around 2 weeks! I continued to get blazing positives on my pregnancy tests couple weeks AFTER my miscarriage. I’d start preparing myself for loss but also would not loose hope if you may have your dates off. Much xxx
@Renee My dates were pretty close to their estimate-I was thinking 6 weeks and 1-2 days and they were thinking 5 weeks & 6 days which is the only thing that makes me think maybe we just went in way too soon. But I’m doing my best to be prepared, thank you for sharing.
Yea that is very close! I was told they can find heartbeat @ like 6weeks & 6 days, if it’s a day early no heartbeat but if u went in & checked in a day there could be one.
I’ve had two miscarriages and my most recent one in feb of this year went like this. Went in for right sided pain when I was 5w1d and I was measuring ahead, no visible fetal pole. Went back a week and a bit later and baby had only grown to 6 weeks, there was a heartbeat but my gestational sac had shrunk. They drew my HCG and it was 2903 then two days later it was 2980 and two days after that I started to naturally miscarry. The earliest I’ve seen a heartbeat is 5w6d and it was 120.
Hi! This was actually happening to me. I was testing my HCG weekly and they were doubling. My OB wanted me to get an US once HCG was over 3000 - so I went in thinking I was measuring at 6+ weeks but they only saw a sac & egg yolk measuring little less than 5 wks. Tested HCG again and it rose but it didn’t double 😬 So I needed to get another US 11 days later. I was preparing for another miscarriage. But surprisingly, I saw the heartbeat! And measuring at 6w3d. So I am a week behind but it just means I ovulated later.
Praying for the best for you!! 🙏🏽✨
@Kristina so happy for you!
I got this from my doctors office
