Good bibs for dribbling??

My boy soaks through every bib I’ve tried so far! The only ones that seem to work are thick waterproof type backed ones from primark that are made more for mealtimes. Even then they need changing every hour or so. He also has some from Amazon that were suggested- they aren’t too bad but have really ugly patterns on (IMO) so they’re not my favourites 🤣 the cloth ones are what I’d prefer but they just don’t seem to cut it at all. Feel like all I see is babies in the usual cloth bins and feel like I’m doing something wrong/ missing a trick?!

I bought some from next and I really like them. Not sure if my bub is dribbling as much as yours though!

Thank you! Well he soaks through the normal cotton ones within 10 mins and that’s no exaggeration 😂 soo many outfit changes!!

One of my friends said she loved the bibs with the plastic backings rather than the terry towel or cotton - I’ve seen some plain white ones in Asda - think it’s £5 for 10 plain white bibs with plastic backing but they don’t exactly have fun patterns lol

Dribble days ones are really good but aren't cheap. I feel you, my little girls dribble is insane 😂🙈

@Emma yeah I’ve been looking at them but the price is just putting me off as I’d need soo many of them 😬

@Kayleigh yeah I have some of those type but they’re like plastic at the front too and thick kind of so they go into my boys face when he’s playing and he gets annoyed lol. I’ll have a look at the Asda ones! Yeah plastic back is definitely what we need! Thanks xx

@Jess we usually get through 5 or 6 bibs a day realistically but with the dribble days it's 1 or maybe 2 on a bad day x

@Jess try this link - Amazon have the same sort as Asda. Not pretty but hopefully will help you! Baby/Toddler Bibs - Cotton Front, Plastic Back - Waterproof - Multipack - Pack of 10 https://amzn.eu/d/2URDm30

Any that have a fleece back. Sounds weird but they don't soak through at all, I don't know how they work but they do.

marks and spencers do good cotton bibs that are really thick.. i have to change my babies bibs once a day so she gets through 2 but they dont soak through at all just stay wet on top

I love the bamboo bandana bibs by mum 2 mum. Very soft on babies sensitive skin and look cool too!

@Emma I’m the same, constantly changing! Might have to bite the bullet and invest then 😬 thanks xx

@Kayleigh thank you will have to try those xx

www.bibbilyboo.co.uk They are not cheap but by the time you add up all the extra washing from changing constantly they are worth every penny. My 1st dribbled alot and we were going through 3/4 outfits and loads of bibs. Literally we used 1 maybe 2 a day and no change of outfit. Saved them to for the next one. Maybe if you have kind family ask for present 😊. Absolutely adorable patters too. Xx
