Can you find somewhere that hires them out? Take it for a spin first. We have a local sling library for the softer ones I'm going to use. See if something like that exists near you. They might not have the exact brand, but you could try a few styles and compare them.
They are amazingly comfortable - I’ve worn a friend’s baby in one. But I can’t justify the price 😬😬😬
I’ve just bought the babybjorn air mesh carrier as it’s really comfy and also has really good lower back support as well as top support. I also really wanted the artipoppe but the one I’ve bought is literally half the price and can also come in black leopard if you want. John Lewis have a really good selection for trying on, our local mamas and papas didn’t have any unfortunately
We went for Baby Bjorn as couldn’t justify the cost. Still ended up spending over £100!
I’m looking at artipoppe (maybe buy second hand) or , WildBird or sandiaa all look lovely x
@Lauren ohh I don’t actually know where I’m Glasgow sells them. I tried a pram shop and they had a very small variety. They are sooo nice though 😫
@Hannah good idea! I haven’t found anywhere in Glasgow that even sells them.
@Hannah ahh, I have a dog and would ideally like one to walk the dog hands free rather than with the pram. If I knew for sure I will use it then I think it would be worth the price. But you never know
@Mercedes that’s what I was thinking. The other ones I like are still £100-£150. Maybe just get the one I really like 😬 decisions decisions
@Helen I have looked on EBay etc. but I’m hesitant to buy them in case they arrive faulty ☹️
@Karita I think they would be ok on there x but still not always lots cheaper . What design you looking like x
*at?
@Helen either plain black, black and white tweed or leopard. What have you got your eye on?
I bought the antipope after talking to people who had tried a few and absolutely no one had anything negative to say about it (apart from price!). The resell value seems pretty good so I figured I could make most of the money back if it didn’t work for us! I have a code which gives you around £50 off here https://referral.shop.artipoppe.com/l/1KIMBERLEYH36/

@Karita lovely! I like the beige ying yang and the zebra one x
@Kimberley wow thanks. I will definitely use this if I end up getting one xx
Sooooo expensive! We had an ergo baby for last baby and it was great
You can try renting one first on the ByRotation app see if you like it first. I’m seriously considering buying one too but just trying to justify the price 🫠x
Oh I never really though about renting. Thanks. I’ll have a look now xx

I’m thinking the exact same! I know people who have it and they say how good it is for there backs etc but some babies might not like the carrier so I’m a little hesitant. I think when she’s here I might go to mamas and papas and try some out and see if she likes them first and then order one x
