Sleeping alone

How/when do/did you get baby to sleep in his/her own space? He’s almost 3 months. He’s breastfed right now and not sleeping though the night yet so I may keep him with me for a little while longer

I placed a sofa bed in her bedroom. I placed her in her crib from day one, but she was also in the NICU for 3 weeks. I breastfeed also except in the evening to early morning 6am I bottlefeed with breast milk so we can both go back to our individual beds fast. Hopefully once she starts sleeping through the night I can go back to my bedroom.

My kids both went to their own rooms at 4 months. Its recommended to have your baby 'room in' until 6 months though. :)

We moved my daughter out at 3.5 months and sleep trained around a month later. We did it because she was waking every hour or more and it was unsustainable, we were desperate. I didn’t want to move her out and sleep train all at once, felt cruel, so we staggered it. I’ll be moving my son out much sooner in hopes that he will sleep better than my daughter did and hopefully I won’t need to sleep train him because it was emotionally painful for all of us. Do what’s best for you and your family, don’t worry too much about what’s normal for others.

My 2.5 month old she will be 3 months on november 2 and shes been sleeping thru the night since she turned 2 months old. She is on a routine, we walk the dog I and her sister eat than I breast feed and than bathe her and than breast feed again and shes down from 8 to 8 am the next morning and eats for a solid 30 minutes when waking up - takes maybe 1 nap or 3 small naps ..
