Can I use blanket tucked around crib mattress instead of fitted sheet?

Cannot find crib sheets that fit the babylo cozi next to me. I’m going crazy! Measurement of the mattress: 86cm x 44cm x 4cm. I don’t want to buy sheets unless it fits the mattress properly as they’re not cheap and otherwise I feel like I could’ve just used the blanket. If I tightly wrapped blanket around crib mattress so there was no way of baby getting tangled (think of it like a tightly placed flat sheet rather than fitted sheet). This should be okay right??? Like I don’t see any issue with it but knowing motherhood there’s probably something that says I shouldn’t…

When my baby had bad reflux & we ran out of snuzpod sheets I used a really big muslin tucked in tight. Worked fine. If using a blanket it may make them hotter so dress them cooler.
