Delivery experience at Texas Children’s?

I will be delivering at the Pavilion for women, wanted to see if anyone can share their experience? Any tips as I prepare my hospital bag?

I did. We ended up staying Friday through a Thursday so we had a LONG but good experience haha. The nurses are absolutely phenomenal and so kind and knowledgeable! We did not have a single one we did not like. They are extremely PRO breastfeeding so there was a lot of support if that’s the route you’re taking if not it could be kind of annoying haha. The showers aren’t great. The food was really good and quick service. Id make sure to pack your own pillow and blanket. Also pillow and blanket for your support partner if they are staying the night They have everything you’ll need PP (diapers, wipes, any breastfeeding items, etc.) I WAY overpacked even with us staying almost a week haha. If you have any specific questions let me know.

Absolutely great experience!!!! Love my OB and the nurses are awesome!

I had a great experience there. They have basically everything you need. I would recommend bringing your own upside down peri bottle from Frida mom. Obviously bring your coming home newborn outfit. Your phone charger. They also had a photographer coming around asking if you wanted newborn pictures (with you too if you want) so if you want a special picture or outfit then bring that. Obviously it cost extra money. But they were beautiful pictures of my little one. The hospital gown was fine for me, but I know some people like their own matching gown with their little one. Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions. (Also I'm pretty minimalistic so those are my must haves... charger, baby outfit, upside down peri bottle)

Great experience. About to have my 3rd delivery there. The nurses are angels 😇 . I love my OB. Everyone is so sweet and helpful.

Food was good. They have online tours/orientation you can sign up for. I thought it was helpful (specifically to understand the parking and visitation rules). My tv HDMI didn't work so I had to watch stuff on my laptop. Nurses were so nice.

I'm delivering here also I'm so nervous lol
