I have moved my boy up into his stroller part of the pram. His length is measuring at a 6 month old so kind of had no choice! I always have his reclined slightly and he absolutely loves being able to look around. It also lies back if he is tired xx

I moved my boy into his stroller part at 3 months and just lay him down as he was too big for the carry cot x

Most stroller attachments are actually suitable from birth as long as its in a recline position, if your baby no longer fits in a carrycot then you've not really got another choice if you want to continue using your pram and I think carrycots are all pretty standard sized so you're unlikely to find something bigger and even if you did it would depend on whether it would be worth buying for the sake of 2 months. I honestly think a majority of baby's outgrow it before 6 months.

I messaged egg and they said wouldnt recommend putting her in stroller till 6 months because puts pressure on bones and neck blah blah. But i cant see her lasting another 2 months in this

@Mel I have a bugaboo which is very similar in term of the stroller.. I think the egg would be fine for her as it has multiple recline settings so she'd never be sat fully up straight (unless you had it on that setting). You can only try and see if you and the baby are comfortable with it. I changed at 4 months and don't regret it at all ❤

@Mel that applies to all strollers when in the upright seated position, if its reclined which most recline to being flat then its the same as being in a Carrycot, also for liability reasons egg aren't going to advise you switch before 6 months incase you try sue them if something happened, ultimately its your choice though you have to do what's best for your baby, I've not moved my little girl yet but will be very soon definitely before 6 months.

I’m waiting a little longer until my boy is really touching both edges. He’s 4 months and looks like your girl.

I move my little boy as he hated the carry cot he’s now loving the buggy

I moved my lo at 4 months and she is very happy and comfortable

What pram you have? I have moved my little one to her stroller part as she was getting too big and just cried all the time in her carrycot. She loves it but I have put her in a bit of recline because I don’t think she is fully ready to be sat up fully yet x
