Hatch light

What color do you guys leave your hatch on for putting baby to bed? I feel like no matter what my baby stares at the light and it distracts him from falling asleep. I know red is supposed to be good for not waking them so I've tried it but he still just stares. Also what percent light works for you? I'm working on getting a routine going since were getting close to 3 months now! Any other tips and tricks are welcome! (Except warm bath. Warm bath keeps us up every time. I'm gonna start doing them mid afternoon lol.)

I only use the light as we are preparing for bed. White as I transfer them from the bath and get them all changed (mainly so I can still see) then red as I feed them a bottle in the chair. Then I turn the light off and transition her to her crib.

We use red light at 40% and cricket sound at 20%. When he was a newborn it was hard to find the right combination that worked for him but we always stuck with the red light. He’s now 16 months old and we still use the same combination. We also use the same combination for my 2 month old and it seems to be working for her as well.

I just keep it off and use the sound for sleeping!

Red is supposed to be the best color to not stimulate babies. Sometimes she’ll fixate on it though sobwe have to turn it off to get her to sleep and then we’ll turn it on once she’s down.

Red at 70 and either thunderstorms at 60 or rain at 70. My girl stares at it also I just moved the Hatch behind her on her dresser

@Jas omg that's so loud! We use it at 25-48..should I be using it louder does it help??

Haha am I deafening my child 🫣?? Also have the ac, Air purifier and humidifier running maybe that's why I can't hear it lol 😆
