How do you give rice cereal?

My baby hates cereal and prefers oatmeal. I started to spoon feed and also gave in each of his bottles since 4mo. We used his size 2 nipples and made slits in them. The actual nipples for the cereal were too big, so the slits were better. So you can try that.

I mix it in with her purées and a splash or two of water and she takes it like a champ.

I mix it with fruits but you just snip a tiny X into an old nipple and it flows just fine!

I mix it with purées. I also give it to her in her bottle at night and she loves it. I was gifted Dr brown bottles for my baby shower along with cereal nipples so I use those for the cereal. When she’s over my mom’s, my mom feeds her the cereal with a spoon

Size 2 bottle nipples. I mix 1 tbsp in with 6 oz of formula.

@Melanie we use Dr brown bottles as well but the cereal just gets stuck in the nipple. What nipple are you using for the cereal?

I give on a bowl rice,water and formula or just rice and breastmilk I give her a spoon, and just help her get more because she usually knows how to take the spoon in mouth
