Sameeeeee
My baby is exactly the same till we learnt a trick.. Opening his window completely full and after 20 seconds he absolutely silent and within a few minutes he's asleep! It's a miracle trick, we are now actually able to drive without stopping everywhere. I put the window up when he's asleep and if he starts stirring I just open it again if it's cold I put a blanket over him tucked in before we drive off so when we need to open window he does get cold 😊
@Danielle I probably should’ve added that I play white noise through the car, I’ve also tried playing nursery rhymes as we sing them every morning 🥲🥲 I will try putting something that smells like me, would a Muslin work if I put it in my bra/down my top. Only concern is if he ends up smelling milk on it he will be fuming because he wants feeding (he’s breastfed)
@Zoey he doesn’t like the wind or anything on his face makes him cry even more 😣😣
I don't think it's windy I think it's more the sound and the cooler air. May be worth a try just to see 😊
My LG is exactly the same she's 12 weeks tomorrow and really doesn't like her car seat. Wakes uo when she's put in it. I take the bassinet bit of her pushchair and switch the moment we get anywhere. If we need to make a journey that's longer than w0 mins I try leave the second she's getting tired and she does eventually fall asleep x
Oh my gosh, me too! I've tried putting him in on a full tummy, putting him in while he's asleep, opening the window, classical music, dummy... Nothing works. So now, four or five times a week, we're doing 5 minute drives just to get used to it 🤞 I've also moved the straps a little bit, to see it it's more comfortable.
I’ve heard of another mum struggling with this and they moved the car seat to the front (turn the passenger air bags off). I have my LO in the front with me too.
@Katie we have the cloud z car seat x
Hey hun, have you tried a portable white noise machine? Mine really helps when my little on is having a moment. Or failing that maybe try a weighted glove? It might make him feel more relaxed/soothed. Sometimes having something that smells like you might even help too. X
