Going through the same thing I’m just continuing and letting her pee I think eventually they will get uncomfortable peeing on themselves and I just keep asking if she needs the potty
Also, i should say, if she’s saying pee pee, that’s a good sign!
We're almost 2 weeks into potty training. We're averaging 2 accidents a day. Don't give up! We tried the one week time line but it didn't work. Just might need more time! We found naked works the best. He still goes in his underwear sometimes. He returns to daycare tomorrow so we're hoping they'll be able to help with this part as he can't be naked there lol. Sounds like you're making progress it just might take her longer. You've got this
@Brea how does this work with day to day life? The thought of spending the rest of summer unable to leave the house kills me!
@Krista lots of stops! We have a travel potty for the car and a foldable seat for our bag. And tons of clothes! We get him to try before we leave and as soon as we get anywhere and viscera. We have a pad in his car seat as well so we don't have to take it apart to wash, though he hasn't went in the car so far. We went to the zoo last week and there was a fair bit of accidents between him having too much fun to want to stop and my lack of checking the time. We did a doctor's appointment. Tried before we left, nothing, twice before the appointment, nothing then after, peed, tried again once home. I found him being naked helped him learn to hold his bladder a bit. Today we had him naked and he ran to the potty to poop without being asked. It was fantastic! Though with the hour trip we went on we put him in a pull up and did make stops along the way for him to try just not as frequently.
And would not bail. I would pivot your method. Did you try 100% pantless? Heard of the “oh crap! Potty training” book? Worked for my 2 boys. One was 24 months and the other was 21 months. You can do this!!! 💪🏻
