Which st. Luke's? I work at st lukes in Allentown. I can tell you between each of the three campuses things go slightly different. Normally at Allentown when we have a mom admitted for an induction the doctor will initially come in and 1) verify with US that baby is head down & 2) check your cervix to see how dilated you are. This will then determine how your induction will go. There are many possible steps for an induction (i.e Foley balloon, cytotec, pitocin).. all just a matter of where you're starting and how your body is working on its own to progress you
