Change midwife Slough

Do anyone know how to go about making a request to change the midwife at Lansdowne Ave, Slough SL1 3SJ. My midwife not good, she's not helpful at all. Just doing her checklist, never available to answer any queries. Just keep saying call Mama line.

@Bex thank you for the update, was your midwife from slough? I called my GP, they given me a number I couldn't get through. I tried calling on hub number given but again no one available. Luckily I don't have too many issues with my health but if I need her, she is never available. I am currently 31 weeks, till today she never replied to my messages, or voicenote or calls. Yesterday I had an appointment, I didn't wanted to attend.. I didn't wanted to even look at her. Basically I went hospital for 6 hours to get myself checked n since morning I was panicking, I called her and as always she didn't answer. But she said upfront, no point calling me. I can't help you.. Just call your GP or mama line.

Who are you seeing?

@Helena @Bex I thought too the same this midwife hub is probably linked to my surgery.. As both are in same area but looks like surgery is not responsible for it. I googled few number n eventually got hold of someone from Wexham hospital who took my details n she said I will email your hub lead and she will make the contact. Let's see how it goes, yes parking is a nightmare. There is a car park opposite to hub which another surgery operates. Hub n Surgery shares same car park (max you can park about 12 cars or few less). Yesterday I got stuck in the small car park n eventually just parked on yellow line. Luckily I didn't get ticket.

Parking remains a issue once baby is here and you go to weigh them. You can park in the gp surgery across the road. Often we parked in the area behind the hub which some will tell you off for if you’re blocking other cars but it was the only option without worrying about a ticket.

@Amrit actually I was getting late yesterday for the appointment, plus I knew my appointment never lasts more than 10 minutes or so. But yes, once I got inside the hub I was thinking to myself there is a small car park at the back but yesterday even that looked busy. Usually I have Fridays appointment which parking is not bad but this time it was Thursday that's why it looked more busier than usual

I have the same experience with Lansdowne avenue midwife. Having not had a good experience with one of them in my first pregnancy, I asked for them to put me with another one this time. But this one is the same rude. They would wrap up the appointment in 10 minutes. Even before me finish asking a question she would direct me to mamas line. It's a shame the way they operate!!
