Positive actim partus test?

Yesterday I leaked some fluid, so went to hospital to get checked and I’ve had a positive actim partus test 😩 it went from 0-100 with me being blue light’ed to Birmingham women’s hospital with a midwife as my local hospital is unable to take babies born before 28 weeks. I’m 24 weeks today. I just didn’t know if anyone else had experienced this? I’ve been told 30% of women go on to actually deliver a baby this early, so I’m praying I’m one of the 70%!

So sorry to hear. I haven’t personally experienced this but I wanted to sen you some support at this difficult time. Fingers crossed that you’re in the 70% and you get to deliver at full term.

Fingers crossed they can postpone it for a good chunk yet, keep us updated!

Sending you positive thoughts x

Sending you love, fingers crossed you can keep them baking in there as long as possible ♥️♥️♥️

Hope this helps. Hi Hun didn't want to read and run. I've never had a positive actim partus test. I was in a week ago having contractions but mine was negative. However my friend did at 28 weeks and carried on to have her baby 1 day after her due date. I don't think it's a definite that you will go into early labour but it's a risk... Are they going to check you again at any point? I know they like to monitor for only 24 hours after if you've had a positive on one of those tests.

@Abbie everything shall be alright, don't worry. Have a positive attitude.
