Fairy non bio smells weird?

We’ve always used fairy non bio, and temporarily switched to Ariel as they were out of stock. I’ve now switched back to fairy non bio ultimate and my baby’s clothes smell so bad! It’s like a really sickly sweet smell which at first seems nice, but it’s so sickly and his clothes really smell of it even after drying outside and sitting in wardrobe/drawers. I’ve had to dry inside tonight and my house stinks of this weird sweet smell.. has anyone else noticed this?! Has something changed or is it the ultimate stain removal maybe?!
