I’d ask for a baby seat because drivers in turkey are quite aggressive. I never felt safe being on the road there…. X
I’d contact the company as you might even struggle with a car seat if they only have lap belts on the coach rather than normal seat belts. We bought a car seat specifically for travelling which is foldable. So easy to get about. Although I think all parents had that idea at the beginning of summer as it was in pre order for ages!
@Rachel did you manage to find a foldable rear-facing car seat?
We’ve just got back from turkey. We took our own car seat checked it in in the airport (a lot of airlines let you do this for under 2s, we were with TUI) I am SO glad we brought one. The driving over there is crazy. Also I wouldn’t trust one you can hire as they probably won’t be suitable/ you don’t know if it’s been in a crash. For the transfer we booked a private taxi one. A bit more expensive but if you ask your hotel, you should be able to go through them for a bit cheaper. More money but for us keeping our child safe was the most important thing. Message me if you have anymore questions!!
It's your choice. She's obviously safer in a car seat but it's not something that's always easy to arrange. If I was you, I'd contact the travel company to find out what the provision is and, if there are 3-point seatbelts, but no car seats available, take your own.
